This Returns & Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which products may be returned and refunds may be issued.
1. General Returns Policy
Customers may request a return within 7 days of receiving their order, provided that:
- The product is unused and in its original condition.
- The product remains in its original packaging.
- Proof of purchase is provided.
- The product is not excluded from returns as outlined in this policy.
All return requests must be submitted before returning any product.
2. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive a product that is:
- Damaged during transit;
- Defective upon arrival; or
- Incorrect compared to your order,
you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the product.
Please provide:
- Your order number;
- A description of the issue;
- Clear photographs showing the damage, defect, or incorrect item.
Upon verification, Linet Natural may offer:
- A replacement product;
- A store credit; or
- A full refund.
3. Change of Mind Returns
If you change your mind after receiving your order, you may request a return within 7 days of delivery.
The following conditions apply:
- The product must be unopened, unused, and in a resalable condition.
- Original packaging must be intact.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Once the returned item has been inspected and approved, a refund or store credit may be issued.
4. Non-Returnable Products
For health, hygiene, and safety reasons, the following products cannot be returned unless defective:
- Opened skincare products
- Opened beauty products
- Personal care products that have been used
- Products with broken seals
- Gift cards or vouchers
- Clearance or sale items marked as non-returnable
Linet Natural reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.
5. Refund Process
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
Refunds may take between 5 and 10 business days to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Refunds will only be issued after the returned product has been received and inspected.
6. Exchange Policy
Where stock is available, products may be exchanged for:
- The same product;
- An alternative product of equal value; or
- Another product where the customer pays any applicable price difference.
Exchange requests are subject to product availability.
7. Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:
- The item was defective;
- The incorrect item was supplied; or
- The item was damaged before delivery.
We recommend using a tracked courier service when returning products, as Linet Natural cannot be held responsible for items lost during return transit.
8. Cancellation of Orders
Orders may only be cancelled before they have been processed or dispatched.
Once an order has been shipped, the standard returns process will apply.
Where a cancellation is approved before dispatch, a refund will be processed less any payment processing fees incurred by third-party payment providers.
9. Consumer Protection Rights
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights afforded to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA) of South Africa.
Customers retain all rights granted under applicable consumer protection legislation.
